About Us: Staff & Board of Directors
Jen Cantu, Museum Manager and Curator
Jen came to West Yellowstone in 2006 from Michigan following her graduation from Michigan State University with a degree in Cultural Anthropology. After working at the Museum, she was hired as the YHC's Museum Manager and Curator. She is responsible for museum exhibit planning and development, all museum operations, collections management, and a variety of administrative duties.
Carol Leasure, Financial Secretary
Carol moved to West Yellowstone in 2004 from Colorado where she retired from her job as Park Manager with Colorado State Parks. She has a BS in Mathematics from Otterbein College and an MS in Natural Resources from Ohio State University. Carol first served as the Board Treasurer and then became the Financial Secretary for YHC. She is responsible for budget management and helps with many administrative duties as well as event and exhibit planning.
Museum Staff
Each year, the YHC hires 5-6 employees as Museum Staff. These front-line employees provide information, sell admission tickets, sell gift shop items, clean the museum, care for the exhibits, and do whatever else comes up during the course of a typical museum day. These folks are the backbone of our organization - stop by and meet them in person!

The Yellowstone Historic Center is governed by a Board of Directors that meets quarterly, usually in February, May, July, and October. Board meetings are held in West Yellowstone, MT. The Executive Committee, which is comprised of the Officers, meets in the months when full Board Meetings are not held.
